80年代のジャパニーズ・シティ・ポップ、昭和歌謡や和モノ・ディスコ・チェーンを再構築してフューチャー・ファンクというジャンルを生んだ韓国人プロデューサー/DJの「Night Tempo（ナイトテンポ）」。竹内まりやの「Plastic Love」をリエディットして欧米で和モノ・シティ・ポップ・ブームをネット中心に巻き起こしました。
「Japanese City Pop 100, selected by Night Tempo」は、Night Tempoが70年代〜90年代の100人のアーティストから、日本のベスト・シティポップ1曲をセレクトし凝縮したディスクガイドブックです。ハイライツでは、アートディレクション、デザインを担当しました。イラストは韓国のイラストレーターtree13（ナム13）。

Night Tempo is the Korean producer and DJ that reworked 80's Japanese city pop, Showa-era songs, and the Japanese mono-disco chain to create the "Future Funk" genre. His reedit of Mariya Takeuchi's "Plastic Love" sparked an online Japanese city pop boom across Europe and the United States.
"Japanese City Pop 100, selected by Night Tempo" is a disc guidebook containing the best Japanese city pop songs, one from 100 artists from the 70s to the 90s, all selected by Night Tempo. Highlights was in charge of art direction and design. The illustrations are by Korean illustrator tree13 (Namu13).
